Filing Trademark application: 

  1. A Power of Attorney in French simply signed and stamped with the Corporate Seal for each application.

  2. The name, address, nationality and profession or nature of business of the applicant.

  3. The list of goods must be translated into French.

  4. The number and date of the home registration, if any.

  5. Sixteen prints of the mark of less than nine cms.

Filing Patent Application:

  1. A power of attorney in French simply signed and stamped with the corporate seal for each application.

  2. The name, address, nationality and profession or nature of business of the applicant and the inventors.

  3. A simply signed Deed of Assignment if the applicant is not the inventor.

  4. An abstract of the invention in French and Arabic (about 100 words).

  5. Three copies of the specification and claims in French and Arabic.

  6. Three copies of the formal drawings, if any.

  7. A certified copy of the priority document for a convention application.

Filing Design Application:

  1. A power of attorney duly legalized up to the Egyptian Consulate.

  2. The name, address, nationality and occupation of the applicant.

  3. A simply signed power of attorney for each application.

  4. The article(s) covered by the design and the material used in producing the design.

  5. A brief description of the design pointing out its novel aspects (one page).

  6. One copy of the specifications and drawings

  7. A deed of assignment from the inventor to the applicant, if the applicant is not the inventor.

  8. Six identical copies of representations of the design or two specimens of the actual design. Pictures of the design are requested instead of the short description of the design.

  9. A certified copy of the priority document for a convention application to be lodged within two extendable months from the filing date.

Filing Copyright Application:

  1. A power of attorney on the letterhead of the applicant’s form simply signed and stamped.

  2. The name, address, nationality, and the nature of business of the applicant.

  3. Three copies of the work.

  4. A legalized copy of the deed of assignment if the applicant is not the author.
